Another year is upon us and I am excited and hopeful for what 2014 will unveil. I have some goals and ideas that I plan on bringing into fruition before the end of this year.

Fashion and cars do mix! Bentley Motors launched a handbag line today in California. There are two separate styles in the collection and the colors are based off of Bentley paint finishes (Fireglow Red, Linen, Neptune Blue, etc). Bentley Motors will sell their handbags through trunk shows and events in various countries.
I must admit these bags are absolutely GORGEOUS but would you expect anything less from Bentley? Bentley teamed up with designer Vincent du Sartel who previously designed at Louis Vuitton and Loewe and they didn’t disappoint!
The Barnato bag was based off of a loyal Bentley customer, late English aviatrix Diana Barnato-Walker, acclaimed pilot who was the first British woman to break the sound barrier. Price tag on this handbag is $7000.
The Continental is named after the Bentley automobile with the same name. This handbag costs $5500.

I enjoy highlighting when fashion has a purpose. It never gets old when designers take the time to create something that will benefit a great cause, same for large retailers. Fashion isn’t always about the skinny models, overpriced pieces, or the glitz and glam most books and movies are made of. Social causes and fashion make a great mix in my book.
This isn’t Rachel Roy’s first time at giving back; she makes an effort to give back in several different avenues on the regular basis. She teamed up with Lauren Bush Lauren, Founder and CEO of FEED to create a FEED India bag that when purchased will feed 100 school meals to children in India. These bags were launched in May of this year.
This limited edition tote bag comes in two different colors, white or orange and costs $78. This late in the season, you can only find orange, white is sold out.
What I truly like about FEED is that they specify on every product bought how much you are helping instead of just saying a percentage of the proceeds. March 22nd is the debut of June Ambrose’s shoe line with HSN. Most of us fashionistas have heard of June in her role as a celebrity stylist/designer and author. The list of celebrities she has styles is long and impressive (Jay-Z, Mariah Carey, Will Smith, Kelly Ripa, Alicia Keys, and Kim Cattrell, to name a few). She also had a show on VH1 that let you see the process and hard work it took to style celebrities, I loved that show!
I don’t use the word admire lightly but June is definitely someone I admire. She has to be a time management Guru with everything that she balances with work and family! June comes across as a down to earth, genuine person. I love her positive quotes, pics, RockMom chronicles and all of her tips that she provides on Instagram and Juniverse.
June Ambrose is now using her unique style to design shoes that will be loved by women everywhere! I follow June on Instagram @juneambrose and I have been able to see some sneak peeks of the line! I am definitely a fan of the Faye, pictured below. Mint is the perfect color for Spring! This lovely shoe has suede trim and the heel is at least 4 inches. Faye also comes in black/white and gold. The price point isn’t a budget buster, yay :)! $109 or you can do HSN flex payments.
I would imagine that once this line debuts, it will sell out quickly. I would suggest that you go ahead and book-mark HSN on your favorites and order your size before it’s too late!

Fall is officially here and I am definitely excited about it! Fall to me is about boots, purses, accessories, pumpkin pie, pumpkin chai and family time. My first fall purchase was a Michael Kors Colgate bag!
This bag is also available in chocolate and dark green. This bag is SUEDE (love), has no interior pockets, and it’s a real grab-n-go bag and I love it! It also comes in a smaller size but I figured go big or go home applied in this case 🙂
Boots that are going to be popular this season are riding boots and booties. They will both be all the rage this fall. The selection of riding boots and booties makes it difficult to decide on a purchase. Here are a few that I really like. There are a pair of booties by Vera Wang that are a complete budget buster but they are so pretty, I had to add them to the list!

Hi again! I didn’t even realize my last post was in September 2011…yikes!
On the off-chance that other people read this blog (besides my friends), I want to explain my hiatus.
It’s not that I haven’t been blogging at all, I just haven’t been blogging about purses, make-up or fashion. What have I been blogging about? Pregnancy…my pregnancy to be exact. I started a blog so my family and friends who live far away can keep up with all that’s been going on with my pregnancy.
I am due in March with our first baby. We choose not to find out the sex and our busy trying to finalize all the last-minute things that need to be checked off the never-ending task list 🙂
Spring is right around the corner and there is no better time to get back into talking about fashion! Spring Fashion shows, colors, trends and plenty of new purses. I also wanted to change-up the look of the blog, I did my Spring cleaning early this year, HA!

I recently purchased a great make-up find! I totally love this stuff. The Sugar Lip Collection is ah-mazing! I bought the Sugar Lip Polish and the Sugar Plum Tinted Lip 15 SP.
The Lip Polish is used to exfoliate your lips and leaves your lips soft. It may sound odd to exfoliate your lips at first but the results are great. It’s brown sugar crystals, jojoba seed, and grapeseed oils which help nourish your lips. You leave the Lip Polish on for 5 minutes then wipe off with a warm towel. I only use it a few times a week and I can see a difference.

The Sugar Plum Tinted Lip SPF 15 is to be used after the Lip Polish. It helps to nourish and protect your lips. It’s the softest and smoothest lip balm I have ever used. The lip balm also contains antioxidant-rich vitamins to help beat wrinkly lips. I was a little wary of the Plum tint because it looks very dark but it you can control how light or dark you want the plum by how much you put on your lips.
